Rifaximax Suspension is used to cure different infectious traveller’s diarrhoea caused by E.coli bacteria, hepatic encephalopathy and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea (IBS-D). Traveller’s diarrhoea is a type of infection in which there is a passage of loose stools. Hepatic encephalopathy causes loss of brain function when a damaged liver is not able to wipe out toxins from the blood. Irritable bowel syndrome is a situation which affects the large intestine. 

Rifaximax Suspension extracts ‘Rifaximin’, which works by working on the bowel and stopping the spread of infections caused by the loss of beneficial gut bacteria.  Rifaximax Suspension helps in providing relaxation in abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Rifaximax Suspension should not be used for those patients who suffer from diarrhoea complicated by fever or blood in the stool and diarrhoea due to pathogens other than Escherichia coli.

Direction To Use

• Shake the bottle efficiently before taking this medicine.
• Read all the instructions properly on the label on the bottle.
• Take a proper dose of medicine as prescribed by the doctor.
• Take a medicine as prescribed time daily to take more benefit of it.

Storage

Place this suspension in a cool and dry place. Never place this syrup directly in front of sunlight.
