TELITOSS-3D
Amlodipine, Telmisartan & Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets– TELITOSS-3D is a combination of three medications used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure): telmisartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They reduce blood pressure by expanding and relaxing the blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that excretes excess water and electrolytes from the body via urine. It also works by relaxing blood arteries and boosting blood flow over time.
Amlodipine, Telmisartan, and hydrochlorothiazide tablets relax blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely throughout your body. It also helps the body eliminate extra water and enhances urine production. This reduces your blood pressure and your chances of having a stroke, heart attack, or kidney issues in the future. You may not notice any immediate benefits from taking this medication, but it will keep you healthy in the long run. Even if you feel better, you should continue to take it as directed for the best results.
Inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems before taking it. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should seek medical advice before taking this medication. You should also inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, particularly those used to treat high blood pressure or heart issues. To ensure that this medicine is working effectively, you should have your blood pressure, renal function, electrolyte level, and blood sugar level evaluated on a regular basis.
Tablets of amlodipine, telmisartan, and hydrochlorothiazide tablets can be taken with or without food. The dose will be determined by your health and how you react to the medication. Take it at the same time every day if possible. It is critical that you continue to take this medication unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will cause you to urinate more, so avoid taking it within four hours of going to bed. Even if you feel OK, use this medicine on a daily basis to get the most out of it. High blood pressure normally has no symptoms, and if you stop taking medication, your risk of having a heart attack or stroke increases.
This medication’s most common adverse effects are ankle edoema, headache, dizziness, weariness, and taste alteration. Consult your physician. If any of these concern you, worsen or refuse to go away. To avoid muscle weakness, dry mouth, and severe thirst while taking medication, drink lots of water.
